 Pay Plans

What is residual income?   Residual income grows over time.
You receive more residual income as your group (Downline) grows and/or from the amount of product you sell (depending on the program).   For example, you enroll a person in January, you will receive "residual income" payments for that person month after month for as long as they are a member in your program (usually starting after the new person has been a member for one full pay period).   Then in February you enroll 3 more people, and so on.   Your residual income continues to increase as you work your business and enroll new members.   Each month you receive an income from each person you have enrolled in the previous months.   Obviously, as time passes and you continue enrolling new members your monthly residual income is going to continue growing larger.

What is a Fast Start Bonus?  Several companies offer fast start bonuses or sign up bonuses on people you enroll.
This means that you receive money from each enrollment (person you sign up into your program).   The amount will vary according to the company pay plan.   Some companies will pay this weekly, others monthly.   This is in addition to your residual income.   These payments are usually made to you separately from your residual income payments.

What is a commission check?  Almost every on-line affiliate program offers a commission check.
This is the amount / percentage that you earn from your monthly product sales.   Be careful with this one- make sure that you will make commission regardless of how much you sell, avoid signing up with a company that requires you to sell a quota or minimum amount each month, before you get a commission check.   There are affiliate programs that will not pay you anything unless you sell more than the required quota each month.  Chances are you will not make the quota which means what you did sell will not benefit you!  Choose a program that pays you the commission on every sale you make, even if it is only one sale.

What is spillover?  This is a common term used and in most cases is overused in the industry.
In simple terms, spillover means you get the benefits from those above you who are working and  building their businesses.   With a  2 x 7 matrix  both business builders and customers receive spillover.   But the true benefit comes from a "Dynamic Compression" system.   This method of compression forces people UP higher into the matrix system every month, filling the holes left open by inactive members.   This bottom up style is new and powerful, as well as profitable to all members in the company.   It ensures that everyone in the company is working as one giant team to maximize profits for every member.
